Bali Possesses
one of the world's most sophisticated cultures. For many
decades the island has experienced a cultural efflorescence
the effects which are still strongly felt today. This unique
and vibrant culture, the cynosure of many writers and artists,
is reflected in the art craft, the architecture and music,
and even in flowing contours of its sculpted landscape.

an Undagi. The Undagi (literally meaning "eminent" or "resourceful" person)
is an architect/priest who determines the suitability of
a site, using a spiritual concept of compass directions.
Following these principals, private family compounds, which
are almost like a village in themselves, incorporate all
the romance of Bali with the basic conveniences of the
west.
